How to Download Hold-Up

1. Click on the Hold-Up download button below.
2. Choose "Install" to install the game on the windows steam client.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts
4. Let it download the Full Version.
5. Once a game is downloaded, use the Windows Steam Client to play the game.

This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.

1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."

Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.

Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.

2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.

3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.

4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.

STORY

In the middle of Europe, 1985 Czechoslovakia is under dominion USSR. Borders are closed, West countries and capitalism is demonized. People are short of goods and imported goods of west is very rare. There are specialized stores like "TUZEX", where you can buy scarce goods only with west currencies. You live in this specific environment and you gradually reach the special underground. Black market, illegal currencies exchange, reselling goods, robberies, heists, lockpicking, illegal copying movies at VHS tapes, music at MC tapes, LP vinyl discs, etc. All locations, goods, items, cars, weapons, stuff and assets are inspired by Czech reality.

STREETS

First phase of game is on streets, firstly Prague. You can move on interactive street in two directions (left and right), where yu can click at persons and enters into buildings.

• Pubs - new contacts who will give you tips on robberies.
  
• Hardware store - tools to prying and overcoming doors, vaults, chests, etc.
  
• Pawn shop - selling loot.
  
• Car dealership - buying car to carry loots and escaping police.
  
• Antique - selling antique artifacts.
  
• Electronics store - buying walkie-talkies, alarm decoder, blowtorch,...
  
• Auctions, Moneylenders, Groceries, Illegal goods,
  
• and many more...

HEIST

Second phase is heist or robbery. Its about plan. You are do record of heist plan. With your movement, actions like lockpicking you record plan. All actions take some time. Your plan you can rewind, replay and re-plan whenever. Sometimes you have a limited amount of time before the property owner returns, other times you have to be quiet and not draw attention. Anyway, try to do as much as possible in the shortest possible time! Try to be as efficient as possible. The supply of things you can take away is limited, so choose the most expensive things. When your plan is complete, press launch to heist 'on live' and make popcorn time! But if your plan will gone wrong [you exceed the time limit, you miss shut down the alarm, your heist is interrupted in some other way] turn on panic mode. Now you have to complete the heist yourself in realtime. No rewind, no time. Just grab what you can and run away.

Accomplices are sometimes necessary in robberies. For example, if you don't have the required knowledge to open locks, decode alarms, etc. You have control over all accomplices. Later it is necessary to divide the money from the loot.
