This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.

"There are things better left unknown" — The hidden masterpiece by ImCyan, creator of "Tsugunohi," finally arrives on Steam
A hidden paranormal detective mystery is revived on Steam. Experience the diverse presentation and gameplay that laid the foundation for the evolution of "Tsugunohi" today.
A full-scale drama-style horror adventure game where the protagonists, paranormal detective Yumemi Teru and his sister Yumemi Luna, who possess the special ability "Dream Link" to enter the dream worlds created by ghosts after death, solve spiritual cases occurring in the city.
Inheriting the will of their late mother, Yumemi Mimiko, the siblings dive into the dream worlds to save those who "know too much."
This is a full-fledged story-driven ADV by ImCyan, author of "Tsugunohi," originally published on the game site "Game Magazine" (which also featured "Angels of Death" and "Noel the Mortal Fate") from fall 2016 to summer 2018. Unlike "Tsugunohi," this work features exploration, mini-games, and various gameplay elements.
This package includes all episodes released at that time (Episodes 1–9; the 2018 special "The Case of the Mermaid" is not included). It serves as a perfect introduction to ImCyan's unique world for both long-time and new fans of "Tsugunohi."
While using the familiar side-scrolling system of "Tsugunohi," this game incorporates unique story elements, settings, and game systems.
◆ Fascinating Ability Settings
Teru's "Dream Link": The ability to enter the dream worlds created by spirits
Luna's "Curse of the Red Thread": Supports returning from dreams to reality
◆ A blend of horror and comedy
The protagonist works as a host in Shinjuku in a surprising turn

A serialized mystery story that deepens over time
The deep bond between Teru and Luna, the mystery behind their mother’s death four years ago, and the truth of incidents involving the "Curse of the Shikiyoku" and "SHIKIYOKU".
The story starts in a high school horror setting and unfolds across diverse locations including Shinjuku's host district, Akihabara, and forbidden lands, evolving into a serious, heavy narrative.

※ Please read before purchasing (About future updates) ※
This package includes Episodes 1–9, originally released up to 2018. It does not include the special episode "The Case of the Mermaid" or any content from Episode 10 onward. As such, the series remains unfinished.
The developer, ImCyan, has expressed a strong intention to resume development and complete the story. Future episodes will be released as Steam DLC once completed (release date and pricing are currently undecided).
We sincerely apologize for the long wait and deeply appreciate your patience.
Please look forward to the continuation of the series at your own pace.
