This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.
Late at night, a teacher shares two bizarre tales: a corpse stuffed in a sheet, and an abnormal presence in the mountains. It was just a ghost story, but a creepy "sense of unease" lurks within. A short psychological horror visual novel offering a dense, terrifying experience in about an hour.
*Notice: This game currently supports Japanese only.
This is a short horror visual novel where you progress the story with simple clicks.
Experience a psychological horror that challenges you to decipher the "inconsistencies" hidden within ghost stories to uncover the concealed truth.
It is the night of a soccer club's training camp.
In a quiet room past lights-out, the "Teacher" begins to recount inexplicable events he experienced in his past.
One is a bizarre phenomenon on an eerie mountain he visited before becoming a teacher.
The other is a gruesome incident at the sea that involved his high school friends.
At first glance, they seemed to be nothing more than ordinary, terrifying ghost stories.
Why is the teacher telling these stories now, at this training camp?
What is the true nature of the strange "inconsistencies" lurking within these recounted memories?
When you finish listening to all the stories, you will understand their true meaning.
Two Ghost Stories Told at Camp: Read through two terrifying experiences set in entirely different locations.
The "Inconsistencies" Lurking in the Story: The storyteller dispassionately recounts his past memories. However, several inexplicable descriptions are scattered throughout. By reading carefully, you will catch glimpses of "another face" to the narrative—proving it is not just a simple ghost story.
The "Choices" to Unravel the Truth: After finishing the two stories, your "deduction" will be put to the test. Uncover the true nature of the inconsistencies within the memories and make the correct choices.
Endings: 4 Endings (2 Normal Endings, 1 True Ending, 1 Bad Ending)
Playtime: Approx. 1 hour. Experience a rich, intense psychological horror in a single sitting, much like watching a short film.
