This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.
More than a cute pet, this is your versatile AI desktop agent. Supports long-term memory, voice, and multimodal vision. It searches the web, safely executes Python code, and manages files. Features continuous agent logic, music management, and custom Live2D/voice support
【What is this?】
This is not an ordinary virtual pet, but an AI Agent with infinite possibilities. We provide the "body," and you choose the "brain." By choosing your preferred AI model (such as Gemini, Claude), she becomes the most capable assistant on your desktop.
Key Features:
🐱 Standalone Companion
Even without any AI configuration, she is a fully interactive Live2D desktop pet. You can interact with her via mouse clicks and use the built-in music manager to play your local tracks.
🛠️ Multimodal Intelligence
She doesn't just chat; she works. Thanks to the built-in sandbox environment, the AI has "hands":
Code Execution: Tell her your needs, and she can write and run Python scripts in a secure sandbox (real-time execution upon your confirmation).
File Management: Organize folders, rename files, or generate data reports.
Web Browsing: With built-in crawler tools, she can search the web and summarize the latest news for you. (Requires appropriate network configuration).
Agent Architecture: She keeps a private diary to record things she doesn't want to forget. When executing complex tasks, she creates a To-Do list that you can check in real-time to see her progress.
🗣️ Full Sensory Interaction
Voice Chat: Supports TTS (Text-to-Speech) and STT (Speech-to-Text).
Long-term Memory: Powered by a vector database (Embeddings), she remembers what you said days ago and learns your preferences. We use multiple memory strategies to ensure core information is never lost.
Vision Capabilities: She can "see" your desktop and understands what you are looking at.
Live2D Interaction: Switch between multiple built-in models or import your own. Her emotions and expressions sync perfectly with the conversation!
🛡️ Safety First
We understand the risks of AI executing code, so we built multiple defense lines:
Command Blacklist: Automatically blocks dangerous system commands.
Sandboxed Workspace: File operations are strictly confined to a specific directory.
Human-in-the-Loop: A warning pops up before any script runs. It only executes when you click "Agree."
💡 Why Choose Us?
Ready to play upon download, no need to obtain API keys yourself, and you can choose from multiple LLMs (e.g., Gemini, Claude, etc.).Contains in-app purchases, solely for covering the cost of API keys.
Customizable: Supports custom System Prompts. Define her personality—from a strict assistant to a tsundere companion.
Open Ecosystem: Import your own audio for custom voices.
