1. Click on the ComingHome download button below.
2. Choose "Install" to install the game on the windows steam client.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts
4. Let it download the Full Version.
5. Once a game is downloaded, use the Windows Steam Client to play the game.

This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.

1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."

Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.

Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.

2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.

3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.

4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.

An ordinary walk home, a chance encounter with a cat. Yet from that moment, reality begins to be tainted by the Hundred-Faced Demon’s trap. After a brief happiness with the cat, strange events unfold before So-eun. The shadow of the Hundred-Faced Demon draws near.

Appealing aspects of a game

• Narrative-focused: It contains the prologue of the main story 'Return Home,' giving it a strong visual novel-like character.

• Unique Action: Red beans, traditionally believed to ward off evil spirits, serve as the game’s only weapon and provide a red bean bomb action experience on the eighth day.

• Worldview: Long ago, there existed a terrifying demon with a hundred faces that lured and corrupted humans. The exorcist Biundam attempted to vanquish this demon but failed, sacrificing his life to create an incomplete seal. As a result, the Hundred-Faced Demon was left with a faint ability to influence reality. This story follows So-eun, a high school girl who becomes ensnared in the demon’s trap.

• Character Introduction

• So-eun: The high school girl protagonist. She has a very bright and cheerful personality, loves animals deeply, and is especially fond of cats.

• Baekmyeongwi: A sinister being with a hundred faces. Through sweet words and deception, it lures people into corruption and makes them its servants. In its own realm, it wields far greater power, but due to Biundam’s seal, it cannot fully unleash its strength.

• Cat: A mysterious being whose allegiance—friend or foe—remains unknown.

Story

In the past, there existed a terrifying demon known as Baekmyeongwi, the Hundred-Faced Demon. Possessing a hundred different faces, it earned its name by disguising itself as familiar people, deceiving and corrupting them. Those who fell into corruption became demons themselves, enslaved under Baekmyeongwi’s control. Grieving the loss of loved ones, people sought out the exorcist Biundam, who engaged in a fierce battle against Baekmyeongwi. Yet, overwhelmed by the multitude of corrupted demons, Biundam alone was not enough. Despite fighting with all his strength, he could not defeat the demon and ultimately sacrificed his own life to seal Baekmyeongwi. However, drained of power, Biundam’s seal was incomplete. Because of this imperfect seal, Baekmyeongwi retained a faint ability to influence the real world and began searching for a victim who could release him from it. This story is about a high school girl who becomes ensnared in the demon’s trap.
