This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.
A relaxing open world pressure washing simulator where you explore the city, accept cleaning jobs, upgrade your equipment, and turn dirt-covered places into spotless environments at your own pace.
Welcome to Super Wash Simulator, a relaxing open world cleaning simulator where every job feels satisfying and every surface is a chance to turn chaos into perfection.
Pressure Washing in an Open World
Step into a first-person (FPS) pressure washing experience and explore a living town at your own pace. Drive your starter golf cart, accept contracts through an in-game messaging system, follow the marker, and clean everything until it’s spotless — then get paid and move on to the next job in this calm, task-driven simulator.
But the city doesn’t only wait for missions. As you freely explore the open world, you’ll discover hidden side opportunities: dirty people, animals, and objects scattered throughout the environment. No map marker, no notification — just curiosity, discovery, and extra cash for those who pay attention.
Tools, Sprays, and Progression
Cleaning is simple, satisfying, and surprisingly skill-based. Each pressure washer features three spray modes — tight and powerful for precision cleaning, wider sprays for faster coverage, and the widest mode for large areas with reduced efficiency. Choosing the right spray at the right moment is key to mastering this power wash simulator experience.
Earn money by completing main contracts and side cleanups, then invest it wisely. Upgrade your equipment with 7 different pressure washers (your first one is free), buy food when hunger strikes, and make small moral choices like helping people in need. Just don’t ignore your basics — eating and sleeping are essential, and pushing yourself too far can cause you to pass out.
Day & Night Cycle
As the day turns into night, the world of Super Wash Simulator keeps moving. Time passes naturally, lighting changes, and exhaustion becomes a real factor. You can choose to push on and finish one last job — or head home to sleep, recover, and start a fresh day. Managing your rest is part of the experience, adding a subtle layer of realism without ever breaking the game’s relaxing flow.
A City Full of Cleaning Jobs
From police vehicles and trucks to gyms, aircraft hangars, city infrastructure, basketball courts, garages, ATMs, and more, Super Wash Simulator offers a wide variety of satisfying cleaning jobs. There are no timers and no pressure — just you, the washer, and the pure pleasure of watching dirt disappear.
