This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.
Master the art of Quantum Weaving in this multiplayer strategy game set in Astralis. Build your deck, clash with rival players, or train at the Atlantean University against an evolving IZAS.
“Loopweavers: Dimensional Alliances” is a competitive multiplayer strategy game where two players—known as Quantum Weavers—clash in tactical skirmishes across the Astralis System. Each turn, they collapse probability waves to manifest entangled creatures from the 5th Dimension onto the battlefield.

A Quantum Weaver, also called an Entangler, masters extreme quantum entanglement—a technology that grants access to the 5th Dimension, an energetic plane where the essences of all conscious beings ever existed are stored.

🪐 A deep lore spanning the Astralis System and its cosmic mysteries.
⚔️ Competitive multiplayer battles between Quantum Weavers.
🎮 Local training mode to refine strategies and deck builds.
👥 Direct play with friends via private matches.
🃏 A full deckbuilder with 1,000+ cards in Episode 1.

🔮 1,000+ abilities and triggered effects to explore.
🌀 40+ Status conditions to master and manipulate.
🔧 Resource and Scrap systems that power your tactics.
🌍 Vital gas storage systems that change depending on the planet.
💎 All cards are earned through gameplay — no purchases or random packs for real money.
🃏 True TCG randomness: shuffled decks, random starting hands, and coin toss to decide who plays first — just like real card duels.
Forge decks that transcend the limits of reality. Start with guided decks and learn the arts of dimensional weaving—or craft your own strategy.
If you're reading this, you're already a Quantum Weaver.

As you learned in your early studies, in the 5th Dimension, every soul exists in a state of quantum superposition—preserved as pure informational energy within the currents of Dark Energy. Each essence retains all genetic memory and experience from every material incarnation it has lived.
We were never meant to be friends, yet today the silence of the stars gave birth to fear. And fear begot distrust… and then war.
We are no longer explorers — now, we are warriors. We no longer live under the shelter and warmth of our star — no, not anymore. Life is harsher out here, but we have helped… and betrayed each other. When all seems lost, another humanoid’s hand rises to pull us to safety. It has been this way for over 10,000 years, and it will remain so for all eternity, no matter how different we are. Some of us are older and wiser, others are younger and bolder — running so fast they are already by our side. As for those in between, no one can tell if they are ahead or behind.

Episode 1 unveils the Astralis System and the civilizations that inhabit it, exploring their millennia-long conflicts and fragile alliances. It focuses on worldbuilding—its technology, metaphysics, customs, and planetary environments. Every world, from asteroids to stations, is essential for understanding Astralis.
Each Episode will add at least 1,000 new cards and will be released approximately every two years, weaving together new mechanics, story, and strategy.
The complete card set of Episode 1 is included in the base release, forming the foundation of Astralis.
Between Episodes, we’ll continue adding new cards, Heroes, modes, and additional content to keep the game evolving steadily without overwhelming players.
The New Atlantis University maintains advanced simulators so its Quantum Weavers don’t get crushed in their first real skirmish.

Have you uncovered the Entanglement Trace of a powerful creature? Or discovered a new combo with your Protocols?
Test your tactics here before facing players across Astralis.
