This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.
You're the last surviving Elf who must find the Secret Sword, the only weapon capable of defeating the immortal Lord Velomdor.
Twenty years ago, the First Earth, home of the Elves, was attacked by the Immortal Lord Velomdor. From every Elf he killed, Velomdor created a creature known as a White Creature, with the goal of building an army strong enough to one day invade the Second Earth, home of the Cumans.
During the long war between the Elves and the Immortal Lord, three Elves forged an indestructible sword from a special diamond. This sword was the only weapon capable of defeating Velomdor, and because it was created by the Elven race, only an Elf could wield it. Velomdor eventually managed to steal the indestructible sword and hide it deep within the Dormin Mountains. From that moment on, the sword became known as the Secret Sword. After years of war, the Elven race was completely destroyed and transformed into White Creatures.
Only one Elf survived - Julian Baker.
You play as Julian Baker, the last surviving Elf who now lives among the Cumans, a race whose name is a mix between Cube and Humans, since everything in this world is cube-shaped, the perfect geometric form.
Chapter 1 – Road to the Kingdom
Under the command of the King of the Cumans, Julian must do everything he can to travel from the region of Reverdel to the Kingdom as quickly as possible. Solve bizarre and unusual puzzles, collect and purchase normal and strange items, explore underground areas, dark forests, and mysterious structures, and meet countless Cumans, each with their own strange stories, bizarre problems, and unique quests. Defeat the first boss, discover hidden places, earn achievements, collect special items, and find the first four Legends of Cumans, who fight for you against the White Creatures to help you safely reach the Dormin Mountains, where the Secret Sword lies.
Each Legend has its own stat card and unique abilities. Some fight fast, some slow; some lose more HP, while others consume less. To recover HP, some prefer to eat Woop Potato Chips Hot Chili, while others prefer Woop Potato Chips - Dormin Cheese. To obtain new Legends of Cumans, you’ll need to find, buy, trade, free, or earn them throughout your adventures.
Unique Battle System
Forget turn based combat.
In Legends of Cumans, every battle is time based, and each fight lasts a fixed number of seconds depending on which Legend is leading your formation.
