This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.
Deep beneath the mountains lies a living forge, where rival creatures — Ogres, Goblins, and Amphibians — must set aside their grudges to craft powerful gear. In this competitive card strategy game, every card you play shapes the delicate balance between power and collaboration.
Each race thrives on its own strengths, but true mastery comes from combining unlikely allies. The more diverse your team, the greater your potential — inspired by Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles, your deck’s harmony determines its might.

Every match takes place inside a realistic 3D forge environment, where your chosen creatures work together to produce armor and equipment tied to their cultural identity. To craft the best gear, you’ll need the right races, the right synergies, and the right strategy.
Use Improvement Cards to boost your employees’ performance.
You can play one Improvement Card per turn.
Each employee can only hold one Improvement Card during their contract.

Accommodation Cards enhance specific races by improving their work environment.
You can play one Accommodation Card per turn, but only on an employee of a matching race.
Each employee can only have one Accommodation Card active during their contract.

Use Malice Cards to disrupt your opponents’ workforce.
You can play one per turn, targeting any opposing employee.
These cards last contract time, unless they cause a reduction in production for the entire workers. In that case, they are removed after the turns' end.

DEI (Diversity, Equality & Inclusion) Cards reward unity and cooperation in your forge.
You can only play them once your forge includes all races of employees.
Only one can be played per turn, and it will be removed at the end of turn if it applies to all workers.

With countless combinations, faction bonuses, and tactical plays, no two matches are the same. Outsmart your opponent by reading their strategy, predicting their plays, and crafting victory card by card.
Challenge friends or other players online in intense PvP duels. Build decks that reflect your playstyle — whether you prefer brute force, clever synergy, or full-spectrum cooperation.
