This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.

1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."

Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.

Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.

2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.

3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.

4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.

Gensou -Yumegokochi- Illusion -Dreamlike- is a modern tribute to the territory-capturing arcade games that swept across Japan and Asia in the 1980s.

In this game, you expand your territory by drawing lines on the screen, while using powerful items like invincibility, speed boosts, and slow-motion effects to turn the tide in your favor.

The game blends this nostalgic gameplay with a beautifully stylized Japanese aesthetic.

Featuring 2D visuals inspired by anime and manga, it offers a rich, dreamlike experience from start to finish.

Set in Japan’s Tohoku region, the game follows a story filled with characters based on yōkai, mythical creatures from Japanese folklore, each one reimagined as a unique and charming character.

Every yōkai has its own story, and your mission is to rescue them from the seals that bind them.

＜Story＞

Long ago, the Tohoku region was plagued by evil spirits.

After a long and difficult battle, the people managed to seal the source of the evil deep underground and built a shrine to keep it sealed.

Now, in modern times, something has gone wrong andthe sealed evil has started to awaken, threatening the region once again.

Corrupted yōkai across the land have been caught in its grasp.

As the head of the shrine, it’s up to you to purify each area and free the yōkai who have been trapped.

Only by doing so can you stop the return of this ancient threat.

＜Gameplay＞

In this territory-capturing game, your goal is to expand your controlled area within each stage and meet the required objective to clear it.

Control your character to draw lines across the field while dodging attacks and collisions from enemy mobs and powerful bosses.

Areas you successfully enclose with lines will become your territory and unlock sealed zones.

As you continue unlocking these zones, you’ll gradually release the characters trapped in the background. Set them free one by one as you progress through the game.

＜Stage Clear Conditions ＞

To clear a stage, enclose the silhouette of the character and reach the required percentage of territory captured.

If you manage to enclose all the silhouettes on the stage, you’ll achieve a 100% clear rating.

＜Game Over ＞

It becomes game over if you run out of time or your health reaches zero.

＜Unrivaled Barrier ＞

A protective shield that blocks enemy attacks and collisions.

It activates while you hold down the designated button, but its energy slowly drains over time.

Taking damage or colliding with enemies will also reduce its energy.

Once the gauge hits zero, the barrier will no longer protect you.

＜Transcendence Orbs ＞

By collecting three orbs that appear on the field, you’ll enter a temporary Transcendence mode.

In this state, you become invincible and can even move freely within your captured areas.

＜Stages＞

There are 114 stages in total, including 78 hidden ones.

The field size may also change each time you play, keeping the experience fresh and challenging.

As you progress through the game, a special stage called Boss Rush will be unlocked.

Boss Rush is a continuous challenge that connects all nine character stages into one epic run!

Clearing Boss Rush will unlock HELL Mode for all stages.

In HELL, even the border lines are no longer safe—enemy attacks cannot be blocked on captured lines, so precise dodging is essential.

＜Reverse Scroll Selection＞

As you progress, a new scroll called REVERSE SCROLL SELECTION will appear.

In this mode, all movement controls (up, down, left, right) are reversed—pressing up will move your character down, and pressing down will move them up.

＜Powering Up ＞

You can upgrade your character by purchasing various enhancement items at the shop.

Boost your maximum life and barrier durability to improve your chances in battle.

＜Gallery＞

You can view all the characters you’ve unlocked in the Gallery.

Revisit each yōkai’s profile and story as many times as you like.
