This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.
I watched over 1000 anime and decided to make a game. If you like Japanese culture and watch anime then you might like it. Short story but shows what a man needs to be happy. Female character is JP voiced. How you comprehend this game is totally depends on your mindset so feel free to try it out.
After watching 1000+ anime I decided to make a game. A game that speaks to the men who are looking for happiness.
This game is about daily life of a normal guy who wants to be happy in life. But who are truly happy in life? Very few people in this world. This is pretty much relatable to most guys out there trying to live a life. You might find some similarities with your own life too.
It has a single Japanese female character fully voiced in Japanese
So if you are an anime fan or skilled enough to understand Japanese voice lines then you will find it more interesting. If you dont understand Japanese then don't worry you will be able to read the subtitles in English like every Anime fan does.
Game will be around 2 hours long depending on your playstyle. The story might seem slow paced or fast paced time to time and ending might seem too sudden but no this is not a half heartedly made game. The ending was decided before even the game development started. So how you like the games story will depend on your mindset.
To avoid spoilers I have not included the character. Because just like anime, if its spoiled then we loose excitement.
Feel free to leave a review on your opinion on this game. I just wanted to make a game for a long time and since I don't have skills in coding or art or most of anything I decided to do make a visual novel game as it was a bit easier to do. I do hope you enjoy the game. If not then feel free to leave reviews even if its negative, I will try to improve in the future if I decide to make another game.
