How to Download Pawoki: Desktop Pets

1. Click on the Pawoki: Desktop Pets download button below.
2. Choose "Install" to install the game on the windows steam client.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts
4. Let it download the Full Version.
5. Once a game is downloaded, use the Windows Steam Client to play the game.

This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.

1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."

Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.

Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.

2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.

3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.

4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.

🐾Drag your pet across the screen:

You can pick up your pet with the mouse and drag it anywhere on the screen. It will walk across the Start menu, explore the desktop, and slide down the edges of the screen.

🌱Grow food:

The pet can plant, water, and harvest crops. All you need is to place a plot for planting and throw in a seed, after which your pet will plant and harvest everything on its own. Watering plants only works if there is water in the inventory, which must be collected in advance from the well.

⛏️Mine resources:

Your pet can mine various resources in special mines. You can sell these resources in the market for coins or, with the right equipment, process them, create different tools and materials, and sell them for even more.

💰Trade:

You can sell all the vegetables you grow and resources you mine in the market for money, which you will need to buy crafting machines, seeds, gifts, and more. You can also make deals with merchants in exchange for certain resources.

💖Take care of your pet:

Your pet has needs such as hunger, thirst, fatigue, and mood. Monitor all needs to keep your pet happy. With a bad mood or low level of any need, it will refuse to work. If you neglect your pet, it will leave you.

📦Resource management:

In the game, you will encounter many different resources and crafting. All items on the desktop can be moved and rearranged using the mouse. Your pet can also help you with this, clearing the desktop of unnecessary resources.

⏰Built-in timer

To increase the multifunctionality of the game, a clock with a timer was added.

You can set a timer for up to 60 hours. And you don’t need to keep it on the desktop. Just set it and hide it in the inventory. If the timer expires while it’s on the desktop, it will start ringing; if it’s in the inventory, your pet will take it out and notify you that the time is up. Measure time for work, rest, or play.
