This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.
Sunny has just moved into the Fuzzleton University dorms. Now he's determined to get a girlfriend. But the marvelous world of Fuzzleton may have other plans for Sunny... Sunny's SIssy Saga is a XXX-rated queer horror comedy musical adventure!
ADULTS ONLY!
Tales of derring- do in the marvelous land of Fuzzleton!
From the warped mind that brought you one of the most hated games on the internet, here comes Sunny's Sissy Saga: a queer XXX-rated comedy horror musical quasi-retro adventure!
All original story and soundtrack, with a trove of fully voiced characters.
Inspired by classic adult games like Leisure Suit Larry & Pipi & Bibi's, as well as sissy games like Perverted Education and Earn Your Freedom, Sunny takes a more light hearted approach. I love those aforementioned sissy games, yet let's face it, they go pretty dark, Which is awesome, yet let split the difference. Sunny's Sissy Saga aims to still give you that" internet feeling", while bringing you smiles along the way.
THE STORY
Join Sunny, a "totally straight" college freshman, as he embarks on his adult journey. Everything is going his way except one thing... he's still a virgin. But he's determined to change that.
Explore the Fuzzleton University dormitory, a building where surprises lurk behind every door.
Assist the Pretzel Snake in cum clean up duty,
Spend time hanging with your best friend, Ned Newt.
Can Sunny avoid becoming a sissy and get the girl? Or will he end up as Bill Bear's play toy.... or is something far more insidious afoot?
THE OTHER STORY
As of release date, Sunny's Sissy Saga comes with Act I: Parts I & II, Soundtrack Mode & Nightmare Mode. If the game gets any love, Part III will follow soon, along with many updates of additional quality. All updates will always be free for anyone who shows love now.
A package easily worth tree fiddy starting at just $2.99!
NIGHTMARE MODE
Start from the beginning and all deaths are game over. Any click might accidentally lead to death. Nightmare Mode is only for those who enjoy self-afflicted injustice and maddening frustration. However, demonic secrets await those foolish enough to try it.
BAGEL BREAKFAST SANDWICH
Soundtrack Mode sets the debauchery aside to peacefully enjoy some original jams.
SAVE & LOAD
Are coming soon. When the game is updated saves won't work with the new version, and a new version is coming soon. When the game expands to a "signature version" Save & Load will be implemented. Or maybe before that, we'll see.
WARNINGS:
Gore & violence are minimal & cartoony, leaning more toward absurd than disturbed.
XXX rated content is frequent, also cartoony & often kinky.
Sissy Hypno files included.
STATEMENT FROM THE FARTIST
Last year I published the dreaded Lood Zoo, because I really just wanted to see if I was capable of making a game. It was written for RenPy. I love RenPy games, but it's not the engine for me. Sunny's Sissy Saga is written in a classic point & click style engine and I'm resonating much more with it. So unlike good ol' Lood Zoo, Sunny's Sissy Saga is fully alive in motion & in song. Headphones are strongly recommended.
A huge reason Lood Zoo got a ton of hate is because of the prompt-based AI "art". I get it. While I am still using stable diffusion in Sunny's Saga (no 3rd parties, no meta no grok, just local apps on my personal computer), it is almost all sketch based. Meaning that I have sketched out everything in this game and edited it all digitally. As I've worked on the game, it's become increasingly hand drawn. So to be clear, this is all one person's story, scripting, voice acting, music, and digitally assisted sketches. Almost nothing is prompt based. Almost everything was hand drawn first. You'll be able to tell what came from the fartist and what is outright AI slop. That said, if this game gets any love, I would love to hire a team and reduce the digital assistance. I think you'll be able to tell what is my hand drawn style, and what is farther from it. I am not claiming to be a great artist, yet I promise that I have put love into this game, There is a bit of outright AI slop, but it is only for laughs. My goal is for this game to be fun, and carry the torch of some of the classics. If not carry the torch, maybe hold a candle.
The whole story of Sunny's Sissy Sage is already written. It consists of three acts, each of which are divided into three parts. Essentially the three acts are
The Set Up The Filth The Incredible Twist I will say no more except things are going to keep intensifying. We're just getting warmed up here. Each part will also expand independently, And the suggestion box will be open, if there's something you'd like to see. Finally, Sunny's Sissy Saga is packed with secrets to discover. There are alternate endings in each part, along with many deaths and other hidden treasures. Deaths do not cause you to restart, unless you select Nightmare Mode. Can you find all of the secrets?
