This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.
Run the warehouse while your boss relaxes on a beach. Sort packages by weight, stack pallets under 60kg, label them, manage power, and deal with failing machines. Everything costs money. Mess up and you’re fined. Keep it running, or the company goes under.
If you dont like stressful games, this game is NOT for you!
In Parcel Frenzy, you’ve got one goal: keep the operation running. Sort packages by weight, stack pallets under 60kg, label them, seal them, and ship them out. If you mess it up, you get fined. If you go bankrupt, you’re fired.
You control every step. Sort boxes onto conveyors based on their weight in KG. Wrong sorting leads to hefty fines. After sorting, rotate packages manually to fit them on a pallet before sealing. Manage electricity so your conveyors and scanners don’t blow the bill. Machines can break. your forklift and printer might even explode. Your boss refuses to invest in better tech. Why would he? This junk still gets the job done.
When machines break you have to repair them, which comes at a cost!, Don’t leave everything running all day.
Your shift runs from 08:00 to 22:00.
It’s fast. It’s messy. And once you get in the flow, it’s hard to stop.
Step out of the warehouse and into a cursed graveyard, where all the past workers are now restless ghosts. Here, the job changes, you’re fulfilling ghost orders and loading the right items into coffins to keep them satisfied. Need more supplies? Order a fresh coffin packed with loot. Leave an order waiting too long or cancel it, and your reputation will take a big hit. Only the bravest can survive long enough to reach 10,000 Rep and unlock the Spooktacular Service achievement. Global leaderboards included!
Unlock Halloween and Christmas themes to completely change the look and feel of the warehouse. Each theme comes with its own decorations, atmosphere, and radio music to set the mood. these are unlocked by playing in October / December in any year (for free) and can always be activated after unlock.
There is one relaxing mode in Parcel Frenzy, this is the night shift, the boss is asleep, and the radio plays chill music while you work at your own pace.
Decorate the warehouse with 50 items, including 17 seasonal unlocks. Place chairs, benches, plants, barrels, and more to shape the space how you like it. Every item you place is persistent and will remain in your warehouse across all sessions, even if you go bankrupt.
Boxes fly down the belt faster than the boss can yell. the boss screams either LEFT, MIDDLE, or RIGHT. Grab, throw, and sort them into the right holes before they drop. Every correct throw earns points, the more you miss, the earier your run is over. The pace keeps climbing until you break.
Set your best score and compete on the global SpeedSort Leaderboards.

Can you ship enough packages to keep the company afloat?

This is my first attempt at making a small-scale simulator. There isn’t a ton of customization and you don’t build your own workplace in this game. You are the worker, operating under your boss’s control.
