This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.
Your wait for a college baseball game is over. College Baseball: Dynasty Builder lets you take control of a college program, recruit top talent, manage your roster, and build a powerhouse over multiple seasons.
Welcome, college baseball fans and text-based management fans. Like you, I've always wanted a college baseball game to play. However, that was not possible until now.
College Baseball: Dynasty Builder lets you take over a college program, recruit top talent from across the United States, and win a championship.
A very competitive recruiting model that the AI follows the same rules as the player. You have to spend your resources wisely to build your team.
A fun and interactive postseason system that has conference tournaments, regionals, super regionals, and culminating with a college world series.
Very customizable allowing users to use their own logos and conference setups. The Discord will have logos and universes for players to download and use.
I try to respect the player's time and the simulation time is extremely fast. To simulate an entire 56 game regular season schedule for 300 teams takes under 1 minute on most PC builds.
Stat tracking for season and career stats. Do you want to see which player born in Georgia has the most career home runs? No problem.
Transfer Portal is in the game to frustrate you like real life coaches! In all seriousness though, I've found that you can get multiple starters from the transfer portal if you target correctly.
A dynamic prestige system that works with your school attribute ratings to help grow your school into a place that recruits want to play for.
There are no 3D graphics or play by play engine. So you will not have the opportunity to call the hit and run on a 2-1 count in the 6th inning. I want to make that clear, so I don't have anyone upset at me. I would love to have a system in place, but as the only person working on the game, I had to make decisions on what could be done.
There is a box score for every game, so you can see the breakdown on how the game went. However, you will not be able to watch the game "live".
