This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.
Spend 100 days living with two “Egg Girls” in a gentle, bittersweet romance visual novel where four emotions—Affection, Empathy, Comfort, and Tension—gradually shape dialogue, distance, events, and endings.
This is a romance visual novel about spending roughly 100 days
living together with two mysterious “Egg Girls”
Your daily choices affect four emotions: Affection, Empathy, Comfort, and Tension.
Drawing closer is not the only option—sometimes,
choosing to keep a little distance matters just as much.
Over time, those choices quietly shape the tone of conversations,
facial expressions, distance between characters, story events, and ultimately, the ending itself.
Even the same words can feel completely different depending on the
relationship you’ve built and the emotions of that day.
Yukino is awkward, quiet, and kind.
Rinne is cheerful, honest, and straightforward.
As you spend your days with them, watch their feelings shift little by
little—and see how your relationship changes with them.
Rather than relying on dramatic twists,
this story treasures the weight of time spent with someone,
the quiet sway of unspoken feelings,
and the lingering afterglow that remains after the ending.
This is an all-ages title.
It does not contain explicit sexual content or graphic violence.
Heroines Shaped by Emotion
The balance of Affection, Empathy, Comfort, and Tension changes dialogue,
expressions, reactions, behavior, story events, and endings.
A 100-Day Cohabitation Story with Branching Routes
The game features separate routes for Yukino and Rinne, along with five endings.
The small choices you make over 100 days gradually change your
relationship and eventually lead to major turning points in the story.
Voice and Animation That Capture Subtle Emotion
Japanese voice acting and Spine 2D animation carefully express blinking,
breathing, eye movement, gestures, and the emotions hidden in the space between words.
A Gentle, Bittersweet Romantic Experience
This is a game for players who enjoy changing relationships,
emotional nuance, and the lingering feeling that remains after the story ends,
rather than intense drama or explicit content.
Estimated Play Time
Each route takes about 3–4 hours to complete.
By exploring multiple routes and endings, you can enjoy the story for even longer.
Players who enjoy romance ADV / visual novels
Fans of cohabitation stories, changing relationships, and emotional development
Players who like stories where choices affect reactions and endings
