This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.

A new girl has appeared in the Cyber World, which is on the brink of collapse after losing its brightest star. She is ready to debut as a Nextuber.
Her name is Syr.
This is the story of her journey to restore the Cyber World's lost star.
The core cycle of the game is simple: earn Vitality → stream → gain fans.
You can earn Vitality through activities like doing part-time jobs and visiting arcades.
Spend the Vitality you earn to stream and grow your fanbase while also earning funds.
As your fan count increases, new story scenarios will unlock, the Cyber World will gradually be restored, and new part-time jobs and facilities will become available.
But be careful—it is crucial to not overwork Syr, or her mental state may collapse.
Simply streaming won't earn you fans very efficiently.
In this game, you can hone Syr's stats by arranging various furniture and equipment in her agency's office. As her stats improve, your streams perform better, and the rewards you earn increase.
Some equipment even come with “Equipment Skills” that activate during streams. By combining these skills, you can make your broadcasts even more exciting!
Keep livening up the office and boost Syr's stats to make her stronger!
While this is primarily a raising simulation game, the story is also a major focus, offering a heartwarming and emotionally touching experience.

Ever since she was first inspired and comforted by Spica's streams, Syr has held a deep respect for her.

She is introverted and avoids making eye contact with others.
She continuously posted detailed criticisms of Spica's streams, eventually becoming known as a prominent hater.

An independent Nextuber known for her excellent speaking skills.
Her greeting is “Hello, thump thump!”
Cheerful and playful, she is highly proactive and handles all aspects of streaming herself—from planning and production to editing.
She has built a strong following, rivaling even corporate Nextubers in popularity.
Ark-P
A man who was Spica's former producer and the president of her agency.
Even after Spica's disappearance, he continued his work and is now the head of a major Nextuber agency.
He firmly believes that a performer and their avatar should not be separated.
He is calm and businesslike in nature, but…

A legendary Nextuber from the early days of the Cyber World,
renowned for her incredible performances.
She was philanthropic, hardworking, and approached everything with sincerity, speaking in an endearing manner.
During her streams she portrayed “the ideal idol character straight out of an anime.”
One day, she suddenly went on hiatus and mysteriously disappeared.

A. The story can be completed in approximately 3–4 hours.

This game is designed so you can enjoy the full story even on a single free day.
After finishing the main story, you can continue to customize your office to your liking, compete for the top spot on the streamer rankings, and enjoy plenty of additional gameplay!

A. The difficulty has been adjusted so that even players who just want to enjoy the story can play comfortably.
It's set at a casual level, allowing everyone to enjoy the game at their own pace.
