This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.
ClusterCluck is a chaotic murder mystery game where not everyone is what they seem. Collect clues, complete tasks, deceive others and talk your way to safety. Whether hunting as a fox or surviving as a chicken, every player has unique skills that can change the game. Trust no one… and cluck wisely.
Welcome to the coop!
ClusterCluck is an online multiplayer social deduction party game for 5–10 players, where your mission is to expose the hidden killer before disaster strikes.
At the start of each match, every player is assigned a random role: are you one of the Chickens… or a sneaky Fox in disguise?
Be careful! Every fox in the coop wears feathers.
The Chickens’ goal is to complete tasks, gather clues, and survive the night against the Foxes!
Chicken: Uses eggs as defensive tools and is a master of quick escapes.
Guardian: Shields teammates and can create a massive protective barrier.
Mage: Resurrects fallen allies and clones itself to create chaos.
Watcher: Turns invisible to reveal another player’s true identity.
The Foxes’ goal is to secretly eliminate Chickens and manipulate the voting phase to their advantage.
Fox: Tracks Chickens by scent, sets traps, and strikes with deadly attacks.
Snow Fox: Freezes Chickens in place, stunning them and allowing allies to strike.
ClusterCluck adapts to your group size with three unique game systems:
🐥 Mini Game (5–6 Players):
1 Fox and 3 Chicken roles. Fast-paced, tense, and full of paranoia.
🐔 Intermediate Game (7–8 Players):
Starts with 1 Fox and 3 Chicken roles.
There’s also a 50% chance of an extra Fox or Chicken role appearing. The balance can shift at any moment!
🦊 Standard Game (9–10 Players):
2 Foxes and 4 Chicken roles for full-scale chaos.
Two types of hidden chests lie scattered across the map:
Mole’s Chest (Common): Offers simple but useful clues.
Owl’s Chest (Rare): Harder to find, but holds far more valuable information.
These chests reveal hints about who the killer might be — but be warned, not every clue can be trusted.
How you use that information is entirely up to you!
The coop’s doors are powered by electricity, but the system has failed.
To escape, players must complete both team and individual objectives.
Team Mission – Fix the Switches:
Repair the electrical system together to power up the coop.
Mini Game: 3 switches
Medium Game: 4 switches
Standard Game: 5 switches
Individual Mission – Rescue Your Chicks:
Each Chicken must find and free their baby chicks trapped in cages around the map.
Rescue your chick, open the coop doors, and get a chance to advance to the voting stage.
1. Survival Phase:
Foxes disguise themselves as Chickens, and suspicion spreads fast.
Complete your tasks, collect clues, and stay alert.
But beware, once the timer runs out, the Foxes will show their true faces!
2. Voting Phase:
The survivors gather, accusations fly, and chaos takes over.
Trust the wrong player, and it could cost the entire coop.
If you’re a Fox, deception is your greatest weapon.
Control the chaos. Build your strategy. Protect your team...
Or put on your mask and blend in,
because in this coop, anyone could be the next meal.
(Parkour Mode)
Cluck Up is a parkour mode offering single-player and multiplayer experiences set in the ClusterCluck universe. The goal is simple: complete the course as quickly as possible.
Run, jump, maintain your balance… But if necessary, peck at your rivals or throw eggs to block their path.
Speed, reflexes, and chaos.
