This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.
Become the exorcist that the world needs! Use Holy Relics and the knowledge from your book to fight demonic possessions. Investigate unholy events and take part in church rituals in this medieval pixel horror game.
Demonic possessions are increasing all over the land. You are a priest being trained by the church to perform exorcisms. Equipped with your Exorcism Book and a case of Holy Relics you are sent to aid the afflicted population.
The land is being overwhelmed by evil. In each chapter of the story you will travel to a different village, and it is your duty as an exorcist to cast all demons out.

Your Abbey is the only holy refuge for the villages around it. Each village will present different scenarios and possessed villagers. Exorcising the possessed is your main task, but animals and the land itself are also being corrupted. You will have to handle all of them.
Unique events can reward you with powerful relics that once belonged to saints and martyrs.
Your book contains information about all demons and demonic signs manifested by the possessed. Find the page that matches the current demonic sign and select the correct holy relic to counter the demon's actions.
As you gain experience, you will know the book by heart and will truly feel as a bona fide exorcist.

You will be equipped with six holy relics: Crucifix, Blessed Candles, Holy Water, Anointing Oil, Incense and Salt. Each relic has a unique minigame that you must complete to counter a demonic sign.
As you travel to different locations, you may find new relics that can have a decisive impact on the outcome of minigames.
After liberating a village from evil, its inhabitants will give you offerings as a token of their gratitude. These offerings can be used to upgrade your relics, giving you an ever increasing advantage against the demons.
Not all exorcisms will end successfully and some souls will be lost. The amount of lost souls and your choices will determine what kind of ending you will get.
