This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.
《Ms Vampire Love to Date with Me》 is a multi-ending ADV that depicts the player and Irene (a vampire) living together during summer vacation.
Ms Vampire Love to Date with Me is a multi-ending romance-raising ADV that simulates protagonist Tang Jun’s 30-day cohabitation with Irene, a self-proclaimed vampire girlfriend, in a castle. Despite Tang Jun having no memory of her, Irene insists they are lovers. Players must interact with her to stabilize her emotional and physical states while uncovering the truth she hides. Over 30 days, players may face catastrophic endings. Only by discovering Irene’s secrets and surviving until the end can players make their own choice based on memories forged with her.
As a senior college student, you wake up in a lavish, unfamiliar castle. Lifting your head, you meet the gaze of a dreamlike beauty smiling down at you.
“I’m your girlfriend, Irene!”
Though she claims to be ordinary, her nocturnal habits and occasional thirst for your blood hint at something darker. Visions of bloody scenes in your mind suggest the castle harbors terrifying secrets. Despite her flawless façade as a girlfriend, a grim预感 lingers: failing to meet her romantic expectations might turn those visions into reality. Thus, you play the role of her lover while searching for the hidden truth…

Irene Myula:
A mysterious girl who yearns to experience a romantic life with the protagonist. Outgoing only toward him. Loves new experiences, physical activities, classical music, garden walks, hot cocoa, and “couple activities.”
She seems like the perfect girlfriend—if you indulge her romantic fantasies. But mention breaking up, and something horrifying might occur…
Daytime is for coexisting with Irene in the castle. Spend time with her to nurture her skills or let her drink blood to relieve fatigue. Irene improves through effort, discovering new joys as her abilities grow.

Nighttime is when Irene is most energetic. She hopes to date you, though the final plans rest with you. Dates leverage skills cultivated during the day, deepening your bond. As her abilities grow, dates unlock unique events, creating cherished memories for Irene.
