This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.

Frantic Birdies is a fast paced resource collecting management survival game where you can manage and control a lot of birds. You gather worms for food, twigs to build a nest and lay and hatch an egg to create new bird life. Your birds can collect jewels as soon as a chick is fed which they can add to your treasure score at the tree bank. The game gets frantic as you try to manage many bird's resources at the same time which makes the game challenging.
The game starts off with one bird but becomes more intense as your hatch new birds. Hatch new birds to beat your number of birds grown high score and to collect more treasure and beat your collected treasure high score.
Avoid the bad birds with your birds as they can send your bird crashing and lose the game.
Each bird has its own treasure that it collects. Go to the bank tree to deposit the birds treasure and add it to your score.
The birds have a random color and it's own stats to try to improve. You can level up your bird so that bird gets more value from the treasure that it collects.
You have to manage each bird's resources such as turning twigs into nests, food into eggs and food into bird feed to feed the chicks.
You can put your bird to go to sleep in one tree so you have twenty seconds without having to manage that bird. You can put up to ten birds in the hole to sleep.

Test your multi-tasking skills with this game that really keeps your focus to manage everything that is going on in the game.
The game can be quickly picked up for a quick session or can go on longer depending on your skills as you get better at managing the birds and resources. Try and beat your high scores.
