This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.
An innovative roguelike puzzle game that changes your fate by reconstructing dungeons. With an auto-navigating hero and floors offering endless retries, each randomly generated dungeon presents fresh challenges. Enjoy a casual yet authentic adventure enriched with deep puzzle elements.
Dungeon Destroyer is a fresh puzzle-roguelike experience where players strategically reshape dungeon layouts like a puzzle, combining tactical planning with the thrill of trial and error.
Reshape the Dungeon
Freely redesign the dungeon’s structure to optimize your path for collecting coins and items. Once you press the play button, your character will automatically head toward the stairs along the shortest route, battling enemies and picking up items along the way.

Endless Puzzle-Like Trial and Error
On the same floor, you can retry as many times as needed—even if you are defeated by enemies. By rebuilding the dungeon like a puzzle, you can discover the best strategy and enjoy the process of solving it. Just like a roguelike, how you make use of items collected on previous floors is the key to survival.

New Strategic Mechanics from the Web Version
Compared to the earlier browser edition, this release adds brand-new features for deeper strategy. Traps such as explosions, speed boosts, or falling rocks create new challenges and tactical opportunities.

Dungeon Shop for Smarter Resource Management
You can now spend the gold you earn to gain advantages. Use gold to increase item slots, boost the number of coins placed in the dungeon, or restore your life. Since gold is limited, careful choices are required to balance between powering up and recovering HP.

Dungeon Destroyer combines the replayability of roguelikes with the satisfaction of puzzle-solving.
While many puzzle games require players to follow the “intended solution,” this game invites you to discover your own optimal strategy among countless possibilities.
Born from the idea of “What if puzzle logic were expanded into a roguelike?”, the game lets you approach challenges through repeated experimentation and reconstruction of the dungeon.
Even if you cannot clear a floor on your first try, each attempt builds your skills and sharpens your thinking. The combination of an evolving player and a reconstructable dungeon creates a brand-new kind of addictive gameplay.
Find your own best solution and experience the unique thrill of Dungeon Destroyer.
