How to Download Fuggedaboutit Farm

1. Click on the Fuggedaboutit Farm download button below.
2. Choose "Install" to install the game on the windows steam client.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts
4. Let it download the Full Version.
5. Once a game is downloaded, use the Windows Steam Client to play the game.

This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.

1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."

Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.

Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.

2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.

3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.

4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.

Gather materials, grow crops and partake in piggery to make as much money as possible. Think you know farming sims? Fuggedaboutit.  Your brother is in debt to a Southern crime family and now he's gone missing.  You happen to be a competent farmer yourself and unfortunately are now their insurance policy.  Gather materials from around the farm, grow a variety of crops and raise and sell pigs to make as much money as you can to pay off your brother's debt.  You have 30 days to complete the task; will you ship enough to please the boss or end up sleeping with the parsnips?

 

Fuggedaboutit Farm is a small-scale farming sim with a big mischievous twist.  Manage your time and resources to ship as much as possible in 30 days.  Replenish stamina by consuming items to make the most of each day.  Buy seeds from the local shop of crops of varying legality and fill your field.  Craft items to help you around the farm to be more productive and more profitable.  Explore the nearby cave to mine for metals, using them to craft more items.  Purchase and raise pigs by feeding them things found or grown on the farm and then sell them when they reach a higher star rating. Help the family dispose of their big black bags by any means necessary; you may need to get creative.  Do you have what it takes to pay off your brothers' debt and leave this frantic farm?  Fuggedaboutit.

Farming

• Visit Smokey's Shop to purchase seeds for up to 7 different types of crops.  Follow the straight and narrow path and grow parsnips or grapes and hops or take a more immoral approach and focus on crops of an illegal nature.  Whatever makes you the most profit!

Mining

• Explore the dark depths of the cave to find precious metals for smelting.  The deeper you venture, the more valuable resources you will find.

Crafting

• Use the resources you gather and the metal bars you've smelted to craft items to help you out around the farm:

• A brewing barrel that will turn grapes into wine and hops into beer which both sell for higher profit.

• Lamps to help make navigating the dark cave easier.

• Compost bins to produce fertilizer.  It can then be used to on soil to produce even more crops when harvested.

• Packaging machines that turn a number of items into a nice, neat package that sells for higher profit.

Pigs

• Purchase pigs and then raise their rating by feeding them things from around the farm.  Certain items will raise your pigs faster so try feeding them a variety.  Sell your pigs at 3 stars for maximum profit.

Big Black Bags

• Part of your duties on the farm include disposing of unwanted items for the family.  Big black bags will be dropped off occasionally.  Don't ask.  Just figure out some different ways to get rid of them.
