Guide: Installing Scary Shadow Spot - All In on Linux with Steam Proton

This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.

1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."

Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.

Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.

2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.

3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.

4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.

What is Scary Shadow Spot - All In? Features and Description

Escape the nightmare by observing what shouldn’t exist. Lisa is trapped in ten floors that shift each loop: find the anomaly, survive, and uncover the truth behind the endless office.

Lisa is trapped in an office that shouldn’t exist: ten identical floors, an elevator that never truly takes you anywhere, and a series of strange phenomena that appear when you least expect them.

After years of gambling addiction, Lisa discovers that her greatest sin has taken shape: the shadows watch her, judge her every choice… and wait for her to fail again.

In this episode of Scary Shadow Spot, Lisa isn’t playing poker anymore: now she’s playing against herself. And the anomalies are the only way to understand how to escape the nightmare.

Observe, Investigate… and Survive

Each floor contains something out of place: an object that shouldn’t be there, a figure staring too closely, a TV broadcasting a disturbing message.

Identify the anomaly before it’s too late… or the loop will restart, wiping your progress and your sanity.

Ten Floors. An Endless Nightmare.

The floors look identical, but they never truly are. Every new cycle can change objects, dialogues, atmosphere, sounds, and even the logic behind puzzles.

The elevator is your only way forward… assuming you always choose the correct door.

Anomalies of Every Kind

In the world of All In, nothing is reliable. Anomalies can be visual, audio-based, environmental, psychological… or appear right behind you.

Every run is different and challenges your observation skills.

The Monitors Speak to You

Each floor contains a television: it shows images, cryptic messages, 1950s commercials, unsettling apparitions, and fragments of Lisa’s mind.

What you see might be a clue… or a deception.

Moral Questions and Psychological Profiles

On certain floors, a terminal will ask you moral questions. Your answers will influence the psychological profile the game builds about you.

Every choice helps shape a final judgment that doesn’t concern only Lisa — but you as well.

The Loop of the Mind

Lisa is trapped in a distorted version of her life: every mistake brings you back to floor 1, forcing you to relive the nightmare from the beginning.

But every failure leaves a mark, and not always a good one.

A 1950s Twilight Zone Atmosphere

Flickering neon lights, smoke in the corners, telephone lines that go nowhere, out-of-time commercials, an omnipresent narrator observing your choices.

The entire game is a tribute to 1950s TV series where reality never follows the rules.

A Final Twist Worthy of the Series

Scary Shadow Spot is known for its twists, and All In is no exception.

The ending will drastically change the meaning of Lisa’s journey — and the player’s entire experience.

Will you be able to find the right ending for Lisa?

A Psychological Descent into Darkness

Tight hallways, shadows moving where they shouldn’t, unpredictable anomalies, oppressive sound design, and a constant sense of being watched make All In a tense and unsettling experience from start to finish.

Scary Shadow Spot: All In is the third chapter in the SSS universe, a psychological horror series inspired by the Golden Age of sci-fi television.

An experience of observation, tension, and deduction where nothing is what it seems… and every anomaly might be the last one you see.
