This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.
Lucky Lord: The Coin Pusher of Fate combines slot-machine-style random strategy with roguelike card enhancement mechanics, creating a unique gameplay experience centered around a coin pusher.
In a medieval age shrouded in darkness, you are the last hope of the territory: a lord bearing heavy responsibilities.
As night falls, deadly monsters emerge from the shadows, threatening the lives of the villagers.
To lead everyone to survival, you decide... to take your talents... to the coin pusher!
Adventurers, magic, war beasts, and wondrous buildings are randomly drawn onto the board. Different cards trigger varied chain reactions.
From novice swordsmen to dragon-slaying heroes, from humble villages to wonderous constructions, from a lone man and his dog to a united force.
Use the coin pusher to summon heroes, forge weapons, build your home, unleash devastating chain damage, and overcome formidable foes.
For a card game with randomness, the playability and strategic depth of deck-building are paramount.
You can form adventurer squads, let Hunters lead beast packs, have Mages unleash chain spells, let Thieves pilfer enemy treasures, or have Priests baptize children to expand the village.
Alternatively, go crazy raising chickens on the farm, plant infinite trees to become the Forest Guardian, become an Alchemist to boost farm yields, or mine resources to become a Mining Tycoon.
Rich card combinations paired with diverse hero enhancements allow you to explore your own unique builds. Every game offers a different experience.
While learning from great games is part of gameplay design, our own unique perspective is essential.
As a game centered around the [Coin Pusher], we strive to keep all focus within the pusher. There's no complex meta-progression. You can start a match anytime, without burden.
We are a very inexperienced team of three. Every player who clicks on this page is our most precious and cherished friend.
Allow us to sincerely express our gratitude to you.
We will continuously update and maintain this game. According to our update plan, we will add more lords, cards, and hero gameplay in the future. We will also constantly optimize game balance and experience.
