This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.
An accident transports you from 1945 to 2010, embroiling you in a high-society kidnapping case. Confused and disoriented, you discover that the victim is your own descendant. Gunfire erupts, chaos escalates, and schemes unfold within schemes... Don’t want to be a pawn? How to become the player?

“Game of Fate 3: Clash of Crowns" is a fully immersive live-action interactive thriller where you experience an extraordinary life through a first-person lens.
Fate is a game—a chessboard of destiny.
On this board, there are no accidents.
Only victory... or defeat.
The winner claims the crown.
The loser fades to dust.

A twist of fate hurls you from 1945 into 2010, entangling you in a high-society kidnapping case.
Disoriented and lost in time, you make a chilling discovery—the victim is your own descendant.
Gunfire erupts.
Chaos escalates.
A conspiracy within a conspiracy unfolds...

To unmask the mastermind, you must return to where the game began—
The quarry, stained with blood and tears...
The sanatorium, shrouded in secrets...
The urban village screaming amidst flames...
The opulent yet rotten grand hotel...
Here, every pulse-pounding deal, every clandestine transaction, bares humanity's deepest desires—and darkest sins.

You have only 72 hours to uncover the truth. But the moment you return, everyone’s fate is already altered.

The whistleblower clinging to hope becomes a sacrificial pawn in the trade...

The seeker full of aspirations watches her dreams crushed by reality...

The one who waited faithfully never lives to see the promised day...

The long-haired princess in the tower plummets into an abyss of truth...

Those who wish to change fate...

Those who seek to overturn fate...

Those who manipulate fate... Who is the true architect?

Perhaps they only wanted to change their own destinies, to no longer be the overlooked, the trampled upon. Is that so wrong?
Or perhaps you are the architect—always chasing perfect outcomes, always trying to save everyone. With your little tricks, you challenge me again and again, as if I don’t even exist. But have you ever considered why you always appear at the right place at the right time? Is it really just luck?
What if, without you and your gadgets, none of this would have happened?
Stop chasing the impossible. Stop trying to save everything. If you insist on keeping both the pawn and the queen, you’ll lose the entire game.
This is the end of all things—and the beginning. You thought you were the player, but you’re just a pawn resetting the board.
This time, you won’t make it to the endgame.
Because your opponent is me.
Now... it’s your move.
