Guide: Installing 绯红编年史 ~ Chronicle of Scarlet ~ on Linux with Steam Proton

This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.

1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."

Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.

Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.

2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.

3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.

4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.

绯红编年史（ Chronicle of Scarlet ）是一款由冲小猪工作室（ Charge Piggy Studio ）东方Project同人的魔塔Like（WWA Like）的角色扮演游戏（RPG）。在游戏中，您需要扮演血族【真红】一族的次女——芙兰朵露·斯卡雷特，在奇幻的世界里激活自己的天赋、构筑装备、消灭敌人，并随着故事的进展做出自己的选择，从而走向不同的结局。

众神陨落后，世界由能够掌握以太的神话种族统治着。不甘被统治的人类先知，预言到了神所遗留的【权能之种】的存在。谁能够拿到【权能之种】，谁就能获得神的权能，也即升格为神。在那近千年之后，血族【真红】一族的次女——芙兰朵露·斯卡雷特，和她的姐姐——蕾米莉亚·斯卡雷特，收到了【权能之种】位置的消息。本该无忧无虑的生活着的她将与她的姐姐一起，被卷入这场谁也无法逃离的命运之中。

这是一款魔塔like游戏，即上世纪末经典游戏【魔法の塔】的衍生游戏。

比起传统JRPG的战斗和刷宝，魔塔Like的游戏更倾向于考验玩家的策略、计算和规划能力。

然而，这又并非传统的硬核魔塔游戏。游戏中除了传统的回合制外，还为玩家增加了大量天赋、技能、装备的配合。
