Guide: Installing I'm a Rocker! on Linux with Steam Proton

This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.

1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."

Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.

Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.

2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.

3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.

4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.

What is I'm a Rocker!? Features and Description

You are playing a metalhead in a post-apocalyptic point&click adventure game. Your wish is to go to one last metal concert, because who knows what tomorrow will bring. But to do that you need to create the conditions in the form of some equipment and a car.

          Gameplay:
The game "I'm a Rocker" is basically a point & click adventure that uses elements of the hidden object genre to unfold the story. As you click, you will discover interactive objects, you will pick up inventory items that you can use elsewhere, and you must have conversations with the characters in the story. There's also a different aspect, and that's collecting CDs. This doesn't affect the plot, but getting them all will earn you a Steam Achievement. The story is not completely linear, some things can be done in a different order.

          Background:
We are after a nuclear war, somewhere in the USA. Life is not kind to you, and your prospects are certainly not looking good. You're a metalhead, a member of a "different" thinking group, listening to "different" kind of music, a member of a rebellious subculture, who always has a slightly different opinion on things than society expects. In many ways, of course, you are the same as everyone else. You want to live a normal life, as much as possible, and you want to have fun. But in this world? You realize that your life might not be very long, so you want to go to one last concert of a famous metal band. The problem is, it's in another city not too close by, and you'd need a functioning vehicle to cross the wasteland. Maybe a partner wouldn't hurt either. So you decide to get to that concert, no matter what, and move mountains to get there.

Although the trailer shows Italian and Ukrainian language options, these two languages are not yet available.
