How to Download Captain Velvet Meteor: The Jump+ Dimensions

1. Click on the Captain Velvet Meteor: The Jump+ Dimensions download button below.
2. Choose "Install" to install the game on the windows steam client.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts
4. Let it download the Full Version.
5. Once a game is downloaded, use the Windows Steam Client to play the game.

This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.

1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."

Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.

Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.

2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.

3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.

4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.

Damien's life is flipped upside-down when his family moves him to Japan. A shy boy, he copes with his newfound loneliness with the power of his infinite imagination and creates an imaginary hero named "Captain Velvet Meteor"! Damien sets off on an adventure with his favorite Jump+ heroes in his imaginary world and fights to adjust to his new home and find himself.

Become Captain Velvet Meteor and help Damien conquer his fears in a tactical adventure enjoyable for players of all ages and skill levels!

○ Combat

Experience Damien's struggles living in Japan for the first time as he interacts with his family in his Grandmother's home. Then, dive into the Jump+ Dimensions, the world of Damien's imagination, where he takes part in strategic battles with the heroes or heroines from Jump+ mangas to fight the various sources of Damien’s worries.


Battles take place on a tactical grid and include unique puzzles where you manipulate the environment to meet mission objectives. Damien and the Jump+ characters have unique attacks, including melee, ranged, and charged attacks. Use signature attacks of your Jump+ companions through Power and Assist Combos to unleash massive damage on hordes of enemies!

○ Exploration

The exploration phase allows you to explore Damien's new home in Japan freely. Damien encounters various cultural elements that make him anxious, such as neighbors and his late grandfather’s portrait. To overcome these obstacles, Damien journeys to the imaginary world to become Captain Velvet Meteor, and fight through numerous epic battles. The player’s actions will determine which worlds you end up fighting in.


Born to a French father and a Japanese mother, a shy boy, Damien, moves to Japan so the entire family can live with his Japanese grandmother. However, everything Damien sees and touches in his new Japanese home is full of worrying elements, such as their pet dog growing aggressive from the stress of changing homes, unknown Japanese dishes being served during meals, and encountering unfamiliar insects during bathtime!

Damien, struggling to cope with his new life in Japan, becomes the hero Captain Velvet Meteor and sets off to explore his imaginary world and face his numerous fears. The heroes and heroines from Damien’s favorite Jump+ manga series are joining him during these epic mini-adventures. Can you guide Captain Velvet Meteor and his manga buddies past their challenges and find emotional comfort amidst the cultural turmoil?
