How to Download Seven Seas: Adventures

1. Click on the Seven Seas: Adventures download button below.
2. Choose "Install" to install the game on the windows steam client.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts
4. Let it download the Full Version.
5. Once a game is downloaded, use the Windows Steam Client to play the game.

This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.

1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."

Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.

Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.

2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.

3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.

4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.

Seven Seas: Adventures is an open-world sandbox game, where there are no classes or gameplay limitations - become a merchant, become a pirate... or become a merchant pirate! Don't know how to swim and have an intense fear of water? It's weird that you're reading this, but we got you! Become an industrialist, own commodity producing facilities and never even think about stepping foot on a boat!

The choice is ultimately yours, and each playthrough is guaranteed to be different from the last!

FACTIONS

Create your very own Faction and Interact with 9 historical Factions that were present during the Age of Sail, form alliances, declare war, and conquer the New World through naval combat and port sieges.

As you conquer ports and influence characters to join your faction, you will slowly eliminate other factions from the new world until you achieve total dominance!

BUILD A POWERFUL FLEET

Build and maintain a fleet of powerful ships, ranging from a humble Sloop to a towering Ship of the Line! Arm your ships with cannons and load them with special ammo types to ensure you're the most powerful captain on the Seven Seas!

COMBAT

Whether you're protecting your fleet from pirates or being a pirate yourself - combat is a key aspect of Seven Seas: Adventures! You can auto-resolve battles or play them in their live and realtime wood-shattering glory!

Take direct and completely control of your ships - steer them, adjust the sails, and order your cannoneers to fire! Dynamically swap between ships while in combat to ensure victory - your entire fleet will be engaged in battle!

But not every ship need be sunk! Board your enemies vessels where crew will battle it out for ultimate control!

After a battle is complete, regardless if you're the aggressor or victim - winning battles will earn you spoils of both gold and commodities and will teach anyone who would wrong you... that's it's probably not a good idea!

But be warned, if you lose in battle, you will lose your ships, goods, and a portion of your gold! So make sure to keep some gold in the bank to ensure you can get back on your feet!

ECONOMY

Seven Seas: Adventures is a very economy-driven game, ports produce commodities which are then consumed to either produce better goods, or just serve as trading goods to trade between ports! In total, players can trade over 30 different commodities!

Find great deals at ports all over the world - or listen in on gossip in the Taverns and Churches to know when goods will be plentiful, scarce, and even contraband!

After you've purchased your wares, sail around the world, or follow gossip to find ports that'll offer you the highest profits! Or, take a risk and attempt to smuggle items into ports where your wares are considered contraband...

But more than this, players can even own the very means of production and invest in businesses to produce commodities for profit, or to feed their better industrial factories!

PLAY ONLINE

Play with your friends in private servers, both over LAN or the Internet - or join public servers with players all over the world in a large scale, constantly evolving game - where the full game is accessible!

A WORLD FILLED WITH ACTIVITIES

In Seven Seas: Adventures, there will be limitless activities for you and your friends to do - hunt pirates and collect bounties, solve puzzles to find hidden treasure, and even visit the tavern to play a few games of Blackjack in the Tavern!
