Guide: Installing Never ends acT on Linux with Steam Proton

This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.

1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."

Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.

Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.

2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.

3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.

4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.

このゲームはウェーブ制で出現する敵を倒し続け、より多くのウェーブを突破することを目指すバトルアクションゲームです。全100ウェーブの突破を目指しましょう。

3種類の武器と衣装チェンジ

このゲームには「双剣・大剣・両刃剣」の3種類の武器があります。
武器は戦闘中に切り替えることが可能で、武器に合わせて衣装が変わります。
好みの武器で戦闘を楽しみましょう。

4つのスキル

武器ごとに通常攻撃と4つのスキルがあります。スキルは発動時にSP（スキルポイント）を消費します。
SPは通常攻撃とジャストアクションで回復することができます。
スキルの配置はメニュー画面から変更でき、同じスキルを配置することも可能です。

ジャストアクション

このゲームの重要な要素として、「ジャスト回避」と「ジャストガード」の2種類のアクションがあります。
敵の攻撃がヒットする瞬間にそれぞれのアクションを行うことでジャストアクションが発生します。
2つのジャストアクションにはそれぞれ以下の効果があります。

ジャスト回避
　→SPの回復＋すべての敵を一定時間スローモーション状態にする
ジャストガード
　→一定時間クリティカル率が100％になる

ジャストアクションを使いこなし、戦闘を有利に進めましょう。

コンボ効果

100コンボごとに、プレイヤーの周囲に強力な攻撃が発生します。積極的にコンボを重ねていきましょう。

アイテム

アイテムにはぞれぞれプレイヤーをサポートしてくれる効果があります。
戦闘にはいくつかのアイテムの中から1つのアイテムを持ち込むことができます。
アイテムには一部を除いてクールタイムがあり、一度使用するとしばらく使用することができません。アイテムを使用するタイミングには注意しましょう。
アイテムの開放には実績の報酬であるポイントが必要です。

実績

様々な実績を達成することで、アイテムの開放に必要なポイントを入手することができます。
実績はメニュー画面から確認することができます。
全100ウェーブの突破と合わせてすべての実績の達成も目指していきましょう。

スコア

戦闘画面右上に現在のスコアが表示されます。
スコアは突破ウェーブ数、敵の撃破数、ジャストアクションの成功数など、様々な項目で決まります。
現在のスコアランク（F～S）は同じく右上に表示されます。
より多くのウェーブを突破する中で、ジャストアクションをより多く成功させるなどしてハイスコアを獲得し、Sランクを目指しましょう。
