How to Download Farmageddon: A Cattle Royale

1. Click on the Farmageddon: A Cattle Royale download button below.
2. Choose "Install" to install the game on the windows steam client.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts
4. Let it download the Full Version.
5. Once a game is downloaded, use the Windows Steam Client to play the game.

This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.

1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."

Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.

Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.

2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.

3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.

4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.

Farmageddon: A Cattle Royale is a series of cow puns masquerading as a new kind of roguelike.

It was a normal day on a normal farm. The cows were grazing, the farmers farming, the Yak yakking.

Suddenly, a divine creature floated down from the heavens. "I am the Provalone Prophet. The Milky Messiah. I am the holy cow." She bellowed."I come bearing a gift." With an otherworldly MOO, she turned a patch of grass to a sparkling shade of gold. "Once the farmers meet their end, to this pasture you must send, the biggest, strongest, toughest cow, that makes the others wonder "how?" On this cow I will bestow, a gift that all will envy so." She declared. The cows didn't have much else going on. And so the game began.

Description

Farmageddon: A Cattle Royale is a series of cow puns masquerading as a new kind of roguelike. Try to claim the divine pasture while picking up items along the way to improve your build! But be careful: every player's run is recorded, and you'll be playing against the ghosts of every run attempted in the same day, including your own! With a new randomly generated map every day, and all sort of aMOOsing items to play with, what are you WHEYting for?

Cowstomization

Unlock cowsmetic options for your cow hero! A different skin is unlockable each day, or you can buy skins directly. Mix and match the head and body, and name your cow to make an impression on the Golden Herd Leaderboards!

A Cattle Royale

Each realtime day brings a new map with a new layout, and every run attempted during that day will play back at once like a ghost in Mario Kart, but with even MORE destructive power! Can you claim the divine pasture?

Moo's the Boss

....So you've claimed the divine pasture. Congrats! You're the boss now! You can try and dethrone your previous run, or challenge your friends to take them down! Your boss will have the same inventory and relative health you finished the game with! You better be well equipped!
