Guide: Installing 铁道少女:梦想轨迹 on Linux with Steam Proton

This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.

1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."

Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.

Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.

2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.

3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.

4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.

《铁道少女：梦想轨迹》是集合轻百合与养成元素的文字AVG游戏，玩家将扮演力图成为第一名女性动车组司机的田诗虹，在一个月期间接受资深研发团队负责人——川崎镜、资深高速动车组指导司机——韩德亮二人的指导，并在最后接受梁凌薇的考核。田诗虹的努力都是为了实现童年梦想——友情破裂的林文丽、苏辰悦三人的童年梦想。玩家需要扮演田诗虹，将三人之间那早已扭曲的轨迹，重新引导回正确的轨道上。

故事背景

国家之间用铁路和新能源技术来比拼的这个世界，在数十年前就告别了战争。

在一所高中，不善言谈的田诗虹和耿直傲沉的林文丽在苏辰悦的带领下逐渐摆脱性格缺陷，三人由此成为挚友。她们约定大学后加入铁路行业：苏辰悦与田诗虹成为动车组司机，林文丽则成为调度员。三人相信这份诺言会一直激励着她们。可是，苏辰悦与田诗虹在大学时因种种原因分别选择了站务员与列车员专业。为了成为调度员而努力的林文丽认为她们背叛了这份友情，三人关系因此决裂。
曾因退缩而成为列车员的田诗虹，决定重新为了梦想而挑战，实现成为第一名女性高速动车组司机的约定，将三人之间那早已扭曲的轨迹，重新引导回正确的轨道上。
