How to Download Operation: Valor

1. Click on the Operation: Valor download button below.
2. Choose "Install" to install the game on the windows steam client.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts
4. Let it download the Full Version.
5. Once a game is downloaded, use the Windows Steam Client to play the game.

This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.

1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."

Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.

Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.

2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.

3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.

4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.

Join one of the three American Alliance (AA) factions; Black Foxes, United Militias or Desert Deviants, as you fight to rule America and expel the occupying force.

Faction War



Experience the all-out war as each faction fights for the right to rule America.

SvS (Squad vs. Squad)

• As prisoners of war, the UNC force you to battle it out gladiator style in five man squads.

American Alliance Factions

Ally yourself with one of three factions in-game and on Discord.

• Black Foxes
  Covering the North-Western region of their beloved land, the Black Foxes are a close knit group of resistance fighters. Although small in land cover, they are large in numbers. Heavily relying on Guerilla tactics, the Black Foxes use densely populated forests and the Rocky Mountains to their advantage. Using infantry-only tactics, the UNC convoys make easy targets.
  
  Culture
  With a hard heart, comes a steady mind. The Black Foxes are sly in behavior and untrustworthy of newcomers. Communication/trading is done with caution, and supervised extensively while done.
  
  
• United Militias
  Derived from the South-East, the United Militia has the largest coastline of all three factions. Although they are in agreement with their tactics, the diverse landscape proves difficult in traversing war fronts. Torid humidity and the various terrains keeps the UNC on their toes, giving the United Militia time to rally.
  
  Culture
  Albeit productive in their cause, they are notorious for being non-provocative. The United Militia are trustworthy in their dealings, yet suspicious externally. Outsiders are welcome, respect isn’t guaranteed. Communication/trading is done with ease, due to their navy capacity. Uniformity in their oligarchic ways, proves fierce in the heat of battle.
  
  
• Desert Deviants
  Spanning across the South Western expansion of the once-known United States, the Desert Deviants have the greatest crop, but are few and far in-between. Unlike other factions, they do not rely on Guerilla tactics due to minimal cover, scorching dry-lands and freezing nights. Rather, they use their environment to the best advantage against the UNC, well-known for their inability to ‘dress’ themselves. The Desert Deviants are well known for their hard hits. Systemically, interactive democracy is practiced for all decisions.
  
  Culture
  Although a tough group of individuals, they are known for their habitual mercy. They are experimental in their warfare and disagree largely on their tactics. Ideally, they base their interactions/trading Quid Pro Quo.

United Nation Coalition

The force that now occupies American territories.

• UNC
  First they attacked the West Coast. Two days later, another force penetrated the Eastern shoreline. As the military rushed to defend, a third wave dropped between our forces; dividing the country and cutting off any chance of reinforcements.
  Within the week they had conquered the military and overthrew the American government. Now their rule is law.
