This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.
1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."
Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.
Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.
2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.
3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.
4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.
Elemental Brawl is a multiplayer party game for everyone who likes to beat up their friends (in a good way!) with the power of the elements! Compete across interactive arenas, mix and match elements for new and exciting attacks, and use them to bring even more excitement into other players' lives!

Welcome to Elemental Brawl, where your goal is to beat up your friends - in a good way! Choose your cute avatar, find the right arena, then beat the tar out of your opponents in point-based battles with a twist, mixing and matching elemental powers! Complete mini-games giving everyone a chance to win, not just those who can kick the hardest! Discover clever combinations of elements and the environment, creating new and unpredictable ways to liven up the party!
Oh, and don't get attached to your friends - every round shakes up the teams and you might end up best buddies with someone you just froze and threw halfway across the map into a blazing inferno!

Every character starts out the same: They can punch and kick, like you! Unlike you, each can collect randomly spawning elemental orbs, granting them new and interesting powers, such as setting players and the map on fire, drenching everything in water and moving them around with spray, or summoning dirt to act as shield. Elements combine, giving you the ability to answer the age-old question: What happens when a superheated rock meets a face?
Oh no. Every round is different thanks to randomly selected mini-games players can complete instead of just racing to get their favorite combination of elements. Don't feel like smacking your best friend across the map? How about a Totem mode, where you need to collect the pieces and defend them from the other team? Or Fire vs. Ice, where you compete to prevent the destruction of ice statues by the fiery fury of the other team? Everyone has a chance to win, not just the ones fastest on the draw!
Between the elements and the mini-games are the maps themselves. Forget about static arenas made of indestructibilium! Here you can set things on fire, freeze them, turn puddles into deadly steam traps, deploy turrets and caltrops, and experiment to your heart's content by combining elements with map environments to create fun new ways to get the drop on the other team - or see them backfire spectacularly, which is part of the fun, right?
Elemental Brawl is in for the long haul! We plan on supporting the game with post-release content, including new elements to play around with (and annoy your friends), new environments and maps, new mini-games to enjoy, and of course new skins to kit out your avatars with!
