How to Download Lost and Hound

1. Click on the Lost and Hound download button below.
2. Choose "Install" to install the game on the windows steam client.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts
4. Let it download the Full Version.
5. Once a game is downloaded, use the Windows Steam Client to play the game.

This guide describes how to use Steam Proton to play and run Windows games on your Linux computer. Some games may not work or may break because Steam Proton is still at a very early stage.

1. Activating Steam Proton for Linux:
Proton is integrated into the Steam Client with "Steam Play." To activate proton, go into your steam client and click on Steam in the upper right corner. Then click on settings to open a new window. From here, click on the Steam Play button at the bottom of the panel. Click "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles."

Alternatively: Go to Steam > Settings > Steam Play and turn on the "Enable Steam Play for Supported Titles" option.

Valve has tested and fixed some Steam titles and you will now be able to play most of them. However, if you want to go further and play titles that even Valve hasn't tested, toggle the "Enable Steam Play for all titles" option.

2. Choose a version
You should use the Steam Proton version recommended by Steam: 3.7-8. This is the most stable version of Steam Proton at the moment.

3. Restart your Steam
After you have successfully activated Steam Proton, click "OK" and Steam will ask you to restart it for the changes to take effect. Restart it. Your computer will now play all of steam's whitelisted games seamlessly.

4. Launch Stardew Valley on Linux:
Before you can use Steam Proton, you must first download the Stardew Valley Windows game from Steam. When you download Stardew Valley for the first time, you will notice that the download size is slightly larger than the size of the game.
This happens because Steam will download your chosen Steam Proton version with this game as well. After the download is complete, simply click the "Play" button.

Meet Biscuit! Your empowered canine senses make you a SUPERHERO. You can hear through walls. You can hear heartbeats speeding up if you're being lied to, or detect people hiding by their breathing. You'll be able to track people and match up items (such as those left at a crime scene!) with the people they belong to. The game's thorough attention to sound design will allow you access to information inaccessible to humans, and it's up to you to make the most of that information.

You're out with your owner, having a nice relaxing vacation in the woods when suddenly, due to circumstance you're thrust into the position of scent tracking dog! You take control of this lovely little corgi, utilizing the dog's powerful hearing and scent tracking ability. Your hearing changes depending on where your head is facing - if you look down, you focus on the scent trail, but if you stop walking and look up, you can suddenly hear much further forward in that direction.

Scent is represented by a low, pleasant humming sound on the ground, and like scent tracking in real life, it is INVISIBLE. Picture making your way through a maze, but the walls are removed and the way out is invisible and represented by sound. Due to this unique gameplay mechanic, this game is fully accessible to blind gamers (and they generally seem to excel at playing, moreso than sighted gamers).

As you reach goal after goal, you become a kind of privatized K9 tracker, a dog mercenary. Travel to exotic, real-world places like the Australian outback, the American wilderness and the Swiss Alps. In between each mission, you'll have the option to play mini-levels to earn more money to travel to exotic, far-away places: work on a truffle farm, in a hospital to assist with seizure detection and detecting cancer, as an emotional support dog for zoo animals, and many other real world applications of working dogs.
